Mission

MISSION

Cricklade United Church is the only free church in the immediate area.
We are hoping our congregation will grow in number, and have been pleased to
welcome new members to our fellowship.

We have a major interest in ‘World Concerns’ and support local, national and
international organisations by raising funds each year. Links exist with Christian
Aid, URC Commitment for Life, Global Justice Now and Fairtrade organisations. In
2024 we will be raising funds for WaterAid, supporting the need for everyone,
everywhere to have clean water, clean toilets and good hygiene.

Cricklade United Church is the home of COPA (Community Partners Association)
which has been working with disadvantaged communities in the Dominican
Republic. A number of members of the church have visited the Dominican
Republic to volunteer.

Also in recent years our Church has been actively involved in the plight of Syrian
refugees and with the local Food Bank.
