MISSION
Mission
Cricklade United Church is the only free church in the immediate area.
We are always pleased to welcome new members to our fellowship and are hoping our numbers will grow.
We have a major interest in ‘World Concerns’ and support local, national and international organisations by raising funds each year. Links exist with Christian Aid, URC Commitment for
Life, Global Justice Now and Fairtrade organisations.
We are currently supporting the charity Embrace the Middle East. Formerly known as Biblelands, many people know of them through the Christmas Carol leaflets which are used widely during the Christmas period. Embrace the Middle East supports Christian communities in the Middle East, aiming to tackle poverty and injustice.
Our interest in ‘World Concerns’ also includes our concern for the environment. We have achieved the Silver EcoChurch Award and in 2026 will be working to meet the criteria for the Gold Award.
