Who Are We?

We are a united church,( URC and Methodist)  based in the small town of Cricklade, which has a population of around 5000 people. Cricklade United Church exists to worship and serve God. We are a friendly and inclusive community who would be delighted to welcome you to our worship services and other events

Cricklade United Church came into being in 1969 when the United Reformed Church and the Methodist Church in Cricklade united; we celebrated 50 years of being a united church in, 2019,when  several special events took place to mark the occasion.

Cricklade United Church has its own constitution – distinct in certain aspects from the parent denominations. The Church Meeting is the decision making  body and Church Council performs the  duties normally undertaken by Deacons/Elders in the URC and Stewards in the Methodist Church. Our ‘Church Secretary’ fulfils  the duties of the URC Church Secretary and Methodist Senior Steward

The church is also part of Churches Together in Cricklade, Latton, Ashton Keynes and the Leigh.
